The distributions typically include weekly coupons from SmartSource, Save.com, and various coupons from big brand names, such as fast food restaurants.

Many customers complain online (here and here) about receiving these distributions since they never signed up. It is unclear how certain households were originally signed up for the inside shopper distribution. However, if you receive this distribution, check the cover page (where the address is marked on the flyer) for an account number that is associated to your delivery address. If you would like to be removed or added to the Chicago Tribune Inside Shopper flyer distribution, you can contact the Chicago Tribune Below with your account number or delivery address.

To the OP... have you ever actually tried to stop delivery of the ad paper? Probably not. I've been trying to stop it permanently since about 2012. That's when they STOPPED delivering it on everyone's porch and started to only make to the public sidewalk. I have called numerous times over the years, and one year I stood outside waiting for the lazy idiots to drive by and threw the paper back to them and yelled "NO MORE HERE!". You see none of them actually "deliver" it. They toss it out a car window as they drive down the street.

Calling the number you gave is 100% USELESS. The CSR will tell you (in heavy accents) that they will "inform the delivery contractor" that you don't want it anymore. Lies, all lies. And I can tell you from my experiences that won't work.

My guess is the lazy drive-by delivery boys are getting paid "piece work". Which would also explain 2 or 3 papers stuffed in one bag or multiple pieces of red garbage thrown on the parkway.
