Creative cocktails & small bites define this sophisticated, stylish bar. Opened in 2007, The Violet Hour is known as the pioneer of Chicago’s craft cocktail movement. An incubator for some of the world’s top bar talents, the cocktail program is led by Head Mixologist and Partner, Toby Maloney. Featuring a seasonally rotating cocktail list, The Violet Hour is located in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood. The unmarked façade of the bar displays an ever-changing mural with a singular light bulb designating its entrance. A marble bar spans the length of the candle lit room, featuring dramatic crystal chandeliers, giving the space an elegant speakeasy vibe. Some major accolades include the James Beard Award of Excellence for “Outstanding Bar Program”, and has graced the pages of Vogue, the New York Times and more.
