Dear Driver's License Holder:
Congratulations! You qualify to renew your driver's license online and avoid a trip to the Driver and Motor Vehicle Facility (DMV). The process is simple:
Visit ILSOS.GOV
Click on Renew your Driver's License/ID on the main page.
Enter your unique 14-digit Renewal Authorization Number listed above.
Follow the instructions.
You will receive your new driver's license in the mail within 15 business days. As a reminder, you are required to renew your driver's license within 90 days of receiving this letter. Other renewal options include:
*Call (866) 545-9607. You will need the 14-digit Renewal Authorization Number listed above
*Mail the completed application in the enclosed self-addressed return envelope, along with your personal check, money order, or cashier's check, made payable to the Secretary Of State. Do NOT send cash.
*For online and phone renewals, you must pay with a credit card or electronic check. A payment processor fe is assessed. Please have your driver's license number and method of payment readily available.
